In part two of our look at Aronofsky, we discuss The Wrestler and Black Swan. We compare the different styles of Aronofsky’s first three films to his last two, discuss theories of the ending of Black Swan. We also look at Mickey Rourke’s Mickey Rourkeness, the movies Aronofsky almost made, and Alex gives cinematgorapher Matthew Libatique some backhanded compliments.

UPDATES: Note that we are only posting the mp3 versions here now, as it seems like anybody that uses the m4a files of these podcasts just gets them from iTunes anyway. Also, we will be taking two weeks off from podcasting. There will still be new written content up until this coming Wednesday, and then new written content will resume on September 19th. We will not be releasing another new podcast until September 22nd, when we will discuss Saturday Night Live.
