This week, we discuss Jonathan Demme’s 1991 classic The Silence of the Lambs. We look at the growth of Clarice Starling throughout the film, and her relationships with Hannibal Lecter and Jack Crawford. We discuss the way the film tells so much of its story with its framing choices, and look at how the film is about perspective, both of how one sees others, and how they see themselves. In summation: this movie is so damn great.
